His organization manages the group’s downstream product and technology portfolio with focus on future value drivers. They identify major growth and performance improvement initiatives and lead their implementation along the supply chain. The organization has been major contributor to planning and building the competitive asset structure of Duna and Slovnaft refineries and excelled with the timely integration of renewable fuels production in CEE markets. They now actively work on elevating INA refinery and logistics performance. Based on his multinational experience, they also assess international acquisition and integration projects.
Before invited to MOL, he assumed diverse international leadership positions of ExxonMobil Supply and Fuels Marketing organizations.
He is member of the Board of EUROPIA (European Petroleum Industry Association), the BoD of the Hydrocarbon Strategic Reserves Association of Hungary, and the Presidium of Hungarian Innovation Association. From 2011 he is the presider of the Mineral oil and Petrochemistry Department of the Hungarian Chemical Association. He is an active Professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and Pannon University of Hungary.
He has an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Veszprem and earned a MBA in Financial Management from Budapest University. He speaks fluent business English, German, and Russian languages.
As father of three children, he lives with his family near Budapest.
